Meet the
powerhouse
marketing duo
They say opposites attract, and that's exactly what happened. We met building an ice cream brand. Being two out of five employees and the only marketing team members, we spent every day on video calls building and executing scrappy marketing strategies.
We all know that cash is queen in CPG. After generating demand to expand into 3000+ doors nationwide, we found ourselves freelancing independently. We quickly realized we were so much more powerful working together. Wherever one had a weakness, the other had a strength to balance it out. With a joint passion for making a difference in the world and the knowledge we could truly help founders, Orenda began.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, I’m a first-generation Angelino with a unique family history stemming from Israel, Iraq, and Poland. I grew up going to an experientially educational summer camp that instilled a sense of purpose in me. I remember coming home as an 11-year-old truly believing that I could make a difference in the world. Not knowing exactly how to begin, I dabbled in various fields. I ultimately landed a degree in Economics to understand what influenced people to do the things they do. My mission became to understand society as much as I could so that I could apply my knowledge for its betterment.
My professional career began with an initial internship in the food industry. What I thought was going to be “just a first job out of college” turned into the time in which I met some of the best people. I unintentionally navigated through the food and beverage space, going from luxury Wagyu to CAULIPOWER to Beckon Ice Cream, where I met Karli. It was then that I was ready to pair my professional experience with formal education. I am now back at UCLA, pursuing my MBA and living with my husband Connor and dog Lando.

I grew up in Pittsford, New York surrounded by a family of entrepreneurs. From interior design to fitness to product manufacturing to farming, I was exposed to an array of innovations. So at a very young age, that spark for building my own business began. When I started college, I naturally gravitated to a B.A. in Marketing, with the goal of delving into fashion. As an “ideal consumer,” I was excited to be part of what I indulged in often.
My educational path at Northeastern University led me to co-op roles in buying at TJX Companies, PR at NARS Cosmetics, and eventually marketing at Beckon Ice Cream, where I met Adi. My passion for the consumer goods sector was amplified when I delved into mission-driven startups. The ability to help bring someone else’s mission to life through a consumer good that also gave back to the community was incredibly rewarding. I now live in Brooklyn, NYC, a city I always thought I’d end up living, with my dog Willow and surrounded by my childhood friends.

The meaning behind the name Orenda
[OH - REN - DUH ]
We believe in the power of positive change. For you, for us, for them, for the world, for the animals. We strive to be a force of good in the world by only working with mission-driven brands so that we can make an impact and leave our mark. After all, what you do makes a difference… and you have to decide what kind of a difference you want to make.
Orenda is two things. It's a noun defined as "a mystical force present in all beings, that can empower them to affect the world, or to effect change in their own lives" and it's also the name of the street Karli’s grandma lived on - one of the many powerful women we are inspired by.
